Mr. Guo Yinfeng was born in Qingyang, Gansu Province in 1949. The profound heritage of the Loess Plateau has nurtured his sincere, unadorned character and profound artistic sentiments. In 1968, driven by devotion, he joined the military and served for more than two decades in the Xizang Military Region and Chengdu Military Region, rising from grassroots ranks to the rank of Colonel at the regimental level. The grandeur of the snow‑covered plateau and the grace of Southwest China were deeply etched in his heart, forging his resolute integrity and laying abundant life‑experience nourishment for his artistic creation. After transferring to civilian work in 1994, he served as a department‑level inspector in the General Office of Shaanxi Provincial People’s Congress. The rigor of his government duties never dimmed his passion for art. For decades, he has remained committed to calligraphy and painting.
